ok came back off my hols to find some new irises out one is lovley , carnt find it any where , its a faded blue in the upper petals and the lower ones are a sort of green to bronze , anyone know what they are called would love some more , they were part of a mixed bag

Definitely need a photo because so many varieties are very similar in colours that it's easy to misname it for you.

i will try a pic , my camera wont go small enough daughters coming later so will ask her to do it ,i tryed the site recamended but got a whole load of bits and bobs popping up on my screen , i did find one called somthing tiger sorry names gone and it wasent a good picture but i think theres another one coming up in the back .

this what it looks like called eye of the tiger ,it looks more greenish on the lower petals, this is not my flower but the colsest i can find till daughter comes over , i never knew how many types there are .

If yours is similar than you can likely narrow down the search field to Dutch irises which is another category of irises.

theyare nice , the green on mine is a more sage green but look the same type as this one in your pic.
