[Fat Hen]

I've had my chickens since March (a silkie hen, a sultan hen and till last weekend a silkie cockerell)

I've been gettting a white egg a day for a couple of months from the two.  At first just one every couple of days and when it went up to daily I assumed both were laying alternately.  We'd been saving them up till weekend then my 2 daughters would have them for breakfast (and shout into garden thanking Polly (& Daisy recently) for their breakfast.

This weekend a brown egg appeared and now I get 2 eggs a day one white & one brown.

So I reckon it's been Daisy, to my surprise, that's been laying for past few months and now Polly the Sultan as started laying the brown egg.

To be honest when they first started laying I thought it was Polly and to think for months my daughters have been thanking Polly when really it's been poor Daisy laying all that time.
