Which do you think is the best for winter bedding and why?

Same as in the summer, its got to be pine shavings for me. No nasty smells and easy to clean out.

Yep and I add straw as well for extra warmth :roll:

i am going bac to flax bedding , although i may keep a bit of straw in there for extra warmth.

They really really don't need any extra warmth. I use bedding to stop the poop from going on the timber and for keeping the birds clean and for making life easier for me.

I thought all your birds sit on sticks to sleep. No bedding on a stick

As Bodger says it's just to keep the floor clean.

I'm a complete convert to flax bedding, winter and summer. Clean, dry, easy to handle and compost down.
