Our hens have now settled in well and seem happy.  Three out of four are laying ...

I have a question for you!

This morning I went out and instead of our usual two large eggs there was one very small one!  Admittedly others have probably turned up since but I am wondering do you think this small egg (even smaller than bantam size) would be the non laying hens first attempt?  I don't know who laid it!

Most chucks when they start laying have one or two blips and this is probably one of them.

The first egg my Polish prduced was no bigger than an inch lol, I've kept as it's so cute! She lays bigger eggs now................guessed it was Mother Nature warming her up for bigger ones lol.
