I sell all my weeks eggs at the Farmers market on saturday. They are a lt. brown with (I swear) maroon spots/stripes. A couple of weeks ago somebody layed one with a bullseye on it! brown egg with a pale ring on the side and dark center. I think the brown eggers are envy driven by the dark eggers

I have a Marans hen which lays (small) speckled eggs and a Welsummer which lays chocolate brown eggs!
