-If life gives you lemons find someone who got vodka and have a party
-If it doesn't fit;force it. If it breaks; you needed a new one anyway
-Borrow money from pessimist; they don't expect it back

Hi CFK, I'm sure there are several chickens which lay speckled eggs, but I've never had them myself.  Aunt Sally may be back later, I'm sure she'll know which ones do.

I want one of the chickens that lay blue eggs!!!!!

Hey, I just found this, its good!!!

I don't know of any breed that lays speckled eggs although my Hatties eggs are sometimes slightly speckled.

A bit like this : http://www.alamy.com/stock_photography/7/1/Marie-Louise+Avery/A8BW85.html

Hi CFK
all our hens are hybrids, one's a speckledy another's a copper black and those two both lay dark brown eggs with even darker speckles on them. They do look really lovely :tongue2:

"The Speckledy is a modern hybrid and comes from a Rhode Island Red crossed with a Maran. " "Egg Colour: Brown to dark brown with speckles "
Taken from Omlet site

They lay speckled eggs according to Omlet, Welsumers do as well but as mine only 2 weeks old have yet to find out :(

My white wyandottes lay a speckled/striped egg pretty regular. I think the girls have contests to lay the wildest eggs! My egg cust. love the variety.
