I read somewhere that if you provide a cover for tomato plants(like umberella) to keep rain off it will help prevent blight.
anybody else heard about this or seen it in operation?
anybody got designs for this bearing in mind the wind we get on most plots.

I've never heard of it or seen any design, just sheltered some of me plants last year with this transparent plastic stuff, only tomato I had, was from them.

or was it a tunnel type structure.

It  was secured on wooden sticks, about 3 feet high. Quite like a carrot enclosure zone.

My polytunnel tomatoes got blight last year, must have blown in the door from my potatoes!!!!!   I kept it off by taking off every brown bit as soon as I saw it, so still got a good crop of tomatoes!
