In addition to labels I have a sketch of the plot that I mark up with variety etc. Labels have a habit of getting knocked, picked up to check and then put back in the wrong place! etc.

But isn't that half the fun?  ::) Bit like my MILs pies when she gets mixed up and serves meat pie with custard, or fruit with gravy  :D

Possibly ... but I come from a different tack, I'm afraid. If I'm trying half a dozen things I want to know what they are so as not to plant the duffers again the following year!

:tongue2:  :tongue2: to you little Gooner fool you

I am a member of a wine club, cos I like wine, want to learn more, and don't want to make mistakes - cos that is disappointing as well as a waste of money. Have discovered loads of lovely Chilean stuff.
Anyway, back to seed labels...........................

I save lollypop sticks through the summer and paint them with a leftover pot of paint that was in the shed. Then write on them with a Sharpie. They look quite nice and they last well. And you have an excuse for an Orange Maid!!  :D
Gardens... should be like lovely, well-shaped girls:  all curves, secret corners, unexpected deviations, seductive surprises and then still more curves.  ~H.E. Bates, A Love of Flowers

I cut plastic milk bottles up...the bottom halves make pots, the tops are cut into strips for
labels :)
Try these out. they are the best ones yet. A lot better than the old marge tub's i was using.
