My sweetpeas have only been in a couple of weeks and have only just started to come through  now and I was even later last year, so put some in and see how they get on. I was still picking last years flowers in October.

My local garden centre has small pots of sweet pea seedlings each year (around about this date).  The cost of a pot of their seedlings is cheaper than the cost for that many seeds (and that's assuming 100% germination)!

Might only be true for the fancier varieties they sell as seedlings, rather than bog-standard mixed seeds ... just a though :)

Do you have space to direct seed them outside? This is the week I normally seed mine outside and they're up and running in no time as the conditions are ideal for them.

Thank you all for your help, i think i'l sow some in the greenhouse, and some outside, and see how i go from there.glad i'm not too late.    :)
