Soil Testing

Hi All

I've bought a PH test kit and just wondered how far down should I take the soil sample from or does it not really matter?

It should say in the instructions. Does it not? Sorry my kit is at home so I can't check for you now.

Sorry just found instructions I read the points 1 - 6 but now just turned

over and its on the back
