Can any of you guys recommend a soil testing kit,I have looked on Amazon and getting a bit confused as there are so many,and not sure if I trust the reviews.

Probes are often thought to be less reliable than test tube kits.

For the test tube kits, the method is to dig down a few inches (6"?) and sample the soil there, in different parts of the plot.
