Hi everyone,

I've noticed some of my seedlings have been really slow to grow, especially my leeks, which aren't much thicker than couch grass after a couple of months. I was wondering if it is the quality of the compost I've been using - a cheap DIY own-brand (which had a piece of glass in it).
I'd be interested to hear what brands of potting-on compost other people would recommend.

It's not unusual  for leeks to still be on the small side, a couple of months after sowing, a liquid feed will help.

Mine seem way behind again this year.... liquid feed is exactly what mine have been treated to.
Another dose coming up in the next few days.

Then a bit more patience.
