has anyone grown helda beans?
« on: April 01, 2009, 22:43 »
We ,love these and last year saw some really cheap (ie 10p!!) end of season in Spain. Has anyone grown these in  England to give me any advice please? They looklike they shouf]d be like runners but if anyone has grown them it would be good to know

Not sure what you're describing - are they a variety of runners or a different species?

It looks like the old-fashioned, flat sort of French bean.  If it is, it'll need growing just the same.
