B+Q heavily reduced veg plants this week

My local B+Q (York) had shelves and trolleys absolutely loaded with heavily reduced strips of cabbages - many different varieties and some lettuces.  Price down to 50p.  Most of them were still fresh and green and healthy. The only ones that were past it were the Savoys.

the ones I got were suppose dto contain 8 plants but in fact had 12. So a brilliant bargain.

Strips were 10p in Homebase yesterday, most of it looked great, didn't actually need any though so just brought 2 strips of celeriac one for me one for someone else, just to give it a try at that price. Their Jamie Oliver Herb pack, which had I think about 8 herbs in them reduced to £1.99 from £7.99 were a good buy, wish I had grabbed one now thinking about it. Never mind
