I am considering closing down the Members Diaries topic as it really is in a format that's not working well.

If enough members would like to keep their own topic as a sort of mini blog that only they can add their updates too and everyone else can read and I'll create a new forum for them.

Please post here if you would be interested.  I can also pull across any posts that you would like to keep from the present Members Diaries.

Hi, if there is a way of preserving them I'd be keen to do so.
I'm enjoying reading others' diaries and I've also found it a great way of remembering to log what I've done every time I've been to the lotty.

that would be an excllent idea aunt sally.  I find the diary very useful and yes sometimes the bookmark I use does not always work first time so a thread of my own would be nice :-)

Hi Aunt Sally. Your suggestion sounds fantastic. I had a look at the diaries section but couldn't really make much sense of it, even though it obviously makes sense to the people who use it. I'd definitely go for a mini blog style diary.
