Is there a need to pinch out seedlings to create a bushier plant please?

Mrs G has produced a great show this year, and we're wondering, if the plant is pinched out, whether the blooms will occur on more stems than the main one which ends up about 15" long!

They do not need pinching out but once they start to flower if you deadhead them they will flower for longer. Love their scent on a summers day. Mine were first  planted about 20 years ago on a bank in full sun - and over the years they have self seeded - just leave some of the seedheads to dry and away they go. Or you can take cuttings and increase the stock that way.

We actually grow some of them down at 'The Patch', as there's plenty of room to pick some for the house, but we still have loads at home as well!

Mrs G has already started next year's, and we actually hadn't considered self-seeding, so this will be an interesting time! They are gorgeous flowers though; I counted six vases at home and they're so easy to keep up with aren't they!
