stuck a spoonfull of melon seeds in a pot from one of those netted green melons from the supermarket and within three days I have 10 seedlings Just hope they grow true and that we get a hot summer  :) any one else grown from saved seed is any thing else worth trying . ::)

Peppers, Chilli's & Tomato's mainly, but most Curcubits will be ok.

You'll have to keep those melons in for a while, and they'll grow like there no tomorrow.

You'll probably want minimum night temps of about 10 degrees before they can go outside.

Sounds like fun though, and I hope you get a good crop!
When weeding, the best way to know if its a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull it.

If it comes out easy, it was a valuable plant !

I've grown courgettes and squash from saved supermarket seed, and years ago a very nice peach tree! ;)

They are seeds and seeds normally do grow when planted..  :D

If they were grown on their own and no cross pollination was possible they should be ok and produce a true replica. But they are grown in a hot climate so you may have a poor result as our growing season is rather milder than Spain etc. where it will be from. Worth a try though.
