For anyone about to 'pickle', Aldi has malt vinegar for 20 pence for 568 ml,  unless anyone has seen it cheaper.

Good price - as long as it's 5% or more it'll be fine for pickling

It doesn't say anywhere on the bottle its acidity level MoS, unlike the white vinegar I used yesterday for pickling eggs which had 5% on the bottle.

I did however use this last year on my onions and they kept fine until they were all eaten at around january.
