Anybody know what causes patches of tiny orange dots - at the moment on groundsel? Will it spread and will it do any damage?
Incidentally my war with the Japanese Knotweed is going well. It looks decidedly yellow and sick.

the orange dots are "rust". i would get rid of the plants! you could spray them with a fungicide........

Thanks, I'd wondered if that what it was - I'll try to stick to the digging up method as long as possible.
