Garlic with rusty tops

Hi, My garlic went in as it does every year October 31st to ward off the evil spirits ;)  However this year the tops have started to go rusty yellow all ready >:( Wouldcutting the yellow tops help?? or would it do any harm as it doesn't look good and I get told off by the retired crew offten enough as i don't always use my tape measureand when I do i work im metere and mill :tongue2:

I get rust most years.

It doesn't affect the bulbs, so just leave it.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
