Potatoes, parsnips, carrots, brussels, runner beans, roasted onions, plus sage & onion for the stuffing, rosemary in the turkey

Pickled pears, golden plum chutney, peas, garlic & rosemary in the potatoes, french beans and carrots today (with the fish pie - not fresh caught fish though)

Unfortunately, the only 2 things homegrown were the parsnips and the turkey!

Potatoes, parsnips, leeks, cabbage, sprouts, swede, celeriac, herbs in the stuffings, beetroots in the pickles, and chutney and courgettes, green beans in the piccallili.

first time for parsnips, swede and sprouts. Sprouts were only tiny, marble size, but enough for 2 meals for us all. 8)

Taken over neglected veg garden at new home. Enemy number 1 Ground Elder. Then there is the furry terror - bunnies - to contend with!
Made a start have beds established but moved in too late for serious planting. We shall see what 2015 brings.
