ok, i havnt kept chooks since i was a kid & im thinking of having a coulpe of pekins at home.
dont think our allotment is allowed livestock, anyway would a 4' x 3' run & a slightly smaller house do? do  you think this will be too small?
i only intend to have 2 & there would be limited access to our small garden.

sorry but I would make the run bigger - the minimum of run space recommended is 1 square meter per bird but we recommend at least 2 square meters - when you consider their feeder and drinker has to fit in as well as space for a dust bath it really doesn't leave much room for them to scratch etc.

could you run to 6 ft by 3 ft which would just about give you a metre for each?

thanks, we may be able to enlarge the run by a few feet - still in the planning stages realy & seeing if it a viable option for us.
i would realy love to have a couple but if it looks like we dont have the space we'll give it a miss  , better that we loose out than have unhappy birds .
