hey guys,

anyone got any good ideas for growing mushrooms, i like new challenges every year! so this year i have brought some button mushrooms from a good seed selling internet site ;)

how and where is what i am after, i have a big pile of horse poo!! any good to shove in there

i have some logs a few of them

or loads of chicken poo!!

all outside, which i think should be ok to grow them??

come on peeps need some advice here!!

It's a shame, but no-one felt they had any advise to give, or your question would have been answered already.

Posts on mushroom growing are awkward, because not many people seem to try and fewer succeed :(

If you put 'grow mushrooms' into the search box, you may find something that will help you.

I bought a kit once and failed - ended up with a cellar full of loads of little flies  :(

I did some in the cupboard under the stairs many moons ago.
We got a few but it was such a faff we didn't bother again!

Me too. I think having a "fresh" kit may help - dunno how long the ones I tried had been stacked up in the Garden Centre - but Unwins don't sell their kit online, and not sure if other companies do? (Probably related to the weight  for shipping)
