Einhell BG-MT 3360 problems

Hi all,

I have just bought the einhell rotavator and am having problems and am wondering if it is a design fault or just mine.  The gap between the tines and the rotor guard is so narrow that stones and clumps keep jamming the rotors.  I can barely get my finger in the gap it's so narrow.  I researched the rotavator before I bought it and can find no mention of anyone else having this problem.  I can't believe that everyone elses plot is stone free.  I have used lots of different rotavators over the last 20 years and never had this problem before.  For now I have removed the guard just so I can crack on and the company are sending me a new one but if it's the same as the other I don't want to spend money on something that isn't fit for purpose.

Anyone else got this model?
