OK...so they are radishes...and it's the wife who eats 'em (I can't stand them)...anybody else eating their lotty crops yet?

Only the ones that I froze or pickled last year!!!!!  Oh and afew cut and come again lettuce leaves, but they wre also what I planted last year and left on the patio in a pot.  re-potted them in March and they've carried on growing!!

I did some spring cabbages and turnip greens..... actually the ones I planted out were slug fodder, but the "extras" that I pushed into the greenhouse soil after the toms came out last year have been great.  We've had about 4 meals from them!  I'll be doing that again!

I've just harvested 20 kilos of parsnips from my old allotment in Luton.

20 Kilos is a lot :shock:

There were also some brussells still there so I had them too. All from last year of course.

Spring greens, radish, lettuce, purple broccoli and our first crop of the year back in feb was new spuds, in a few weeks the first of the little gem lettuce will be ready.
