Cordon Red & White Currants
« on: May 21, 2010, 07:44 »
I have two red and one white currants, trained as cordons 'v' shape. The laterals which were cut back to one bud in March have put on a lot of growth and they are starting to look more like bushes, with middle of the 'v' filling up with new growth. Am I doing something wrong? or will the shape return when I cut back the laterals in late June?
There is no better show of antisipation than a man sowing seeds in a field.
