What happened to my post about the enourmous shed wot I just built?

And my neighbour's complaints about the loss of view?

(After 1.5 hrs dismantling and 2.5 hours of putting back up)  :?

The one behind.

Clearly the 1" gaps in the boards were completely overwhelmed by the monstrous carbuncle I erected!!

I cleared it with Bret and he's more than OK for me to leave it there.

Thanks, AS, but I posted a really long script and I must have dumped it - all about the daughter getting involved and my patient apologies.

Sigh

her brother has a plot on our lottie ,he's really nice but takes a while to warm to newbies but that could have been because i was a lady lottie member, the daughter has something missing she is quite strange she has had go at everyone so at least you know its not personal but for some strange reason she's not picked on me yet i didn't think i looked that scary

Thanks, Jannie

Maybe I'm blocking her view of your shed.

Scary!  :pale:

It's reassuring to find confirmation that the daughter is a couple of peanuts short - she waggled her finger at the apple trees in her garden and said that the branches will be dropping stuff all over my roof!

Whilst I await the delivery of my compost bins to start breaking down that small pile of feresh manure, can you recommend anyone locally for well rotted stuff?

Hopefully we'll have the kettle down there soon enough and you can pop in for a cuppa. I've PM'd my mobile.

Seems that when the trees leaf out they will block more view then that shed does. Who wants to look at brown grass anyway? Too depressing for me I know.

Two plots up from me has just put up their shed.

And guess what ... ?

At least their's is bigger than mine so it does take the heat off me, a bit.

Maybe the plan should be to build bigger and more elaborate sheds, each more objectionable than the last.

By the time we've removed the full scale replica of the Taj Mahal, the full sized Blackpool Tower will look almost quaint in comparison!!  :drunken:

You could put castors on a shed like that and move it about where you like.
Its lovely shed. You could almost take it in the house with you !
I think the base needs some strengthening though, those two pallets you put in have fallen through the floor
