Been away for a couple of night and there was a frost at least one of those nights. Where I stayed only 20 miles away there was a frost on the car this morning at 6.30am. After work rushed up the allotment and checked out my uncovered tatties - seem to be OK and not frost bitten.

I think (hope) I got away with it as I was not around to cover them

Bet you were worried!  So far everything is ok for me.  I have lots of potatoes in pots and went down to the allotment yesterday to put more soil over them.  In some cases I had to make a mound at the top of the pot as the leaves are already there!  Seem ok today though, even those that are already poking through again!
