I have planted about 8 kinds of chillies and I have no idea which ones are which!  Can you pick them while they are green?  Some are a kind of yellow-green what about these?  I am happy to wait but some seem to be dropping off rotten.  

Any advice would be great.

you can. I had one of mine at the weekend. nice taste but zero heat. just try one or 2 and see what the heat levels are like.

Are they getting too wet? hence rotting.
