Pickled Garlic

Just wondering.......
Has anyone ever pickled garlic? And if so......how was it? I've got an abundance at the moment and was thinking of pickling some.

Haven't pickled garlic, but I have last year, made lazy garlic from a recipe on this forum :

   I make Lazy Garlic every year.  Wait for the garlic to dry out, about four weeks, peel and then chop in my food processor, cram into sterilized jars and cover with white wine vinegar.  The jar I'm using at the moment is from 2008 and there is no difference in taste.  I usually add it to what I am cooking with a fork but any vinegar quickly gets 'evaporated' off.

Have lots of garlic so going to give this a go. How finely/coarsely do you chop the cloves? Each clove in three? Slices the thickness of a pound coin?
Growing salad leaves isn't rocket science.

probably depends on how you like it, do a small jar of each if you have lots   :) I put mine in the chopper and what came out is what I used  :nowink:
