I have been avoiding using industrial animal manures for various reasons, including the risk of the presence of aminopyralid broadleaf weedkiller being passed into the soil.

But one major source of composting materials I have been collecting has been the hutch clearings from a local lady who uses straw in her guinea pig and rabbit hutches.

Just recently though I had a thought that aminopyralid may equally have been sprayed on this straw? Or a similar spray may have been used to keep broad leaf weeds down in the wheat crop.

What's the likelihood do you think of me passing an industrial weedkiller onto my plot through this spent straw?

I'd say it was pretty low as I don't think aminopyralids were used much if at all on wheat crops. They were/are mostly used for the control of broadleaf weeds on pasture. Manure from animals grazed on these or hay from these pastures will be contaminated.
