Because I'm no lover of cucumber, I have just been feeding and watering the two in my polyhouse. They are doing very well with plenty of flower and fruit at different stages. Today I gave them a closer and admiring look over and saw in a couple of places what would be sucker on tomato, growing where I don't want them to be. They were about 18" long with perhaps six small fruits on each one. I did a YouTube search and found pruning cucumber videos, which recommended removing as you would tomato. The question I ask myself now is if I should have left them, as they were much further advanced than what I'd watched. I'll be in deep do-do with others if it proves to be a big mistake?
