Emergency Blanket

Had my seedlings Chillis Toms and Aubergine coming on lovely on a west facing windowsill with a folded sheet of emergency blanket used behind them attached to the wall with masking tape..I think the proper name for this material is Mylar anyhow its extremly reflective and seems to be just the job...I bought two emergency blankets from the pound shop and these work well..However you can get mylar from flea bay and (how can i put this)more specialised retailers online..Tin foil is so last season

How very dare you!

Foils is quick, cheap & easy. You can stick it under a pot, tray or what ever and just fold it upwards. A quick nip & tuck in the right place and it's self supporting, unlike mylar.

When you've done with it, you can either save it for more seeds or cook the Sunday roast in it, which you can't with mylar.
