                 i understand your problem with carpet left behind by well meaning, less intelligent plot holders but as mentioned, the weed mats, fleece and black plastic as weed/pest control that have been used for years are as synthetic as carpet and I am yet to be knee deep in dead mammals and birds.

Same council as Gleavo and think if they can arrange a few skips they would be better better used to remove Asbestos, broken glass,metal,baths and all the other rubbish on sites.
Have had a carpet down on the back of the plot for 12 months to cover an area that is still full of broken glass. Already removed 2 builders bags full of glass. Also use carpet on top of the compost heaps.
