Sugarsnap/mangetout peas

This is possibly a very stupid question.
I know you should plant these consecutively for a longer cropping period but is there any way to extend the cropping period of the ones cropping now? eg cutting back?

No, not really. It's the heat that gets them as they're a cool weather crop. All you can do is keep picking them young and keep them watered. This should give you a few extra weeks but not much more. Only thing to do is in later August, start up more seeds for fall cropping.
