Mountfield Tiller
« on: October 25, 2011, 17:39 »
Hi
I have a small mountfield tiller ,which looks very similar to a mantis tiller. It
will not start , it has a very strong spark and i have tried putting a small amount of fuel in the spark plug hole but it will not even fire , any ideas

I find my mantis will only start if fuel is fresh and has not stood around a while in cans or fuel tank. I bet it is not that simple though.

Hi

I wish it was that simple the fuel was mix last weekend for my chainsaw and that works fine . I am wondering if it has got an air leak in the lower engine gasket and therefore not enough compression
