Drowning weeds!
« on: September 05, 2009, 11:03 »
Hi all

Another newbie question from rain swept Cornwall !!!

I have filled a trug with an assortment of perennial weeds and am hoping they will drown with all the rain we are having will this method allow me to compost the remains even tho' it contains bindweed ?

Thanx in anticipation  :)

I believe so, if you leave them drowning for a few weeks.

Not sure about marestail but I think all perennial weeds will get killed off that way.

Others may know better though!
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
