Oh Pamela that is such awful news.
What a savage thing for any human to do. I would have beaten the driver to smithereens if I'd been there.

Such a terrible thing to witness.
**Sending many hugs to you**

How shocking Pamela. Why are some people so absolutely foul. How do they sleep at night,if it was over here the RSPCA could prosecute for cruelty.

We had a meeting tonight for the refuge, we were sat outside at a bar, the weather is still good. The lady who threw the Mum dog and her 4 gorgeous pups is demanding her dog back! She threw her over as she did npt want the pups, she is not getting the dog back!
Another thing that was discussed was another calendar, one like the Calendar Girls!! Jim says it would put people off having to look at me for a month!

He'd be sporting a black eye if he was mine
Seriously I know there is no selling allowed on the forum but how about contacting Aunt Sally/John & see if you could sell some on here,I for 1 would buy 1 to support your good work. Or how about a sponsorship scheme or similar?

At the meeting another lady said ´will Jim mind¨ It had not occured to me to think I would have to ask his permission!!  Even if he said no, I would still do it!!

I was at the refuge this morning, Eli, one of our dogs had escaped, she is in season.... She was waiting at the door to go in. The room where we could normally put a dog in season has 5 small pups in it, they were found abandoned, with no mum close by, so even morepups at the refuge!
A man came to look at our dogs, he came back later, he wants 3 dogs, all small, well short ones, Rubia, the lab type with very short legs, Milo, a small funny looking terrier and another dog, the problem is, he is a hunter, so why does he want the dogs?  I know not all hunters are bad, but too many here are :(

We were just about to go out tonight and I got a message to say a family were interested in either Pelli, the pup we are fostering, or another pup from the refuge. I gave Pelli a quick bath and blow dry!  We then headed off to the refuge. It was all going wrong for Pelli, as the other pup was being playful and Pelli quiet....so I showed a video of her playing with Tibet. They then tried the other pup on a lead, she would not walk..... they said it was for a flat, so they chose Pelli  :D she went off without a backward glance to us!! She will be a lucky dog I think!!
