Storing Garlic
« on: July 24, 2013, 08:20 »
Last year we platted the bulbs and hung them in the kitchen (used the last good bulb about a month ago). This year has seen an even better harvest and there really are too many to plat and hang. Should I store the cleaned and trimmed bulbs in net bags as I do my onions? What do you think is the best way?

Thanks

The garlic I grow is hardneck, so I can't plat them. They spend their time in a old freezer drawer, which is of open wire construction.

A net bag sounds like a good way to go.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
