I recently was given some strawberry plants, which have delivered me a small crop, not quite a mouthful (not many plants at all)

I was wondering whether I could plant the fruit to grow new plants. I would be grateful if anyone could give me, or point me towards, any instructional material.

your strawberry plsnts will send out runners , little tiny strawberry plants , when you find them you should placw a brick between the runner and the parent plant , nearer the runner is better , once the runner has rooted you should cut it from the parent plant , FREE STRAWBERRY PLANTS , NO COST AT ALL

If you feel inclined, you can also pick off the tiny seeds on the fruit and plant them in some moist potting mix and eventually they'll sprout into still more plants. You don't need the whole fruit for this, just the seeds. After we've done jamming, I'll take all the berry cleanings and sprinkle them along the strawberry bed where they'll seed themselves into some more plants.
