It was quite a long one, very informative from somebody who been successfully growing potatoes in pots, leaving the pots on the land where he normally grew spuds.  He used a mixture of this soil and compost I think.  I think it was autumn 2016 time.

Does anybody know which one I mean?  I've tried searching but can't find it.

After reading the post that SusieB was trying to find , I 'took the plunge' and bought some growing bags, looking forward to seeing how things go having tried spuds in buckets last year , made the mistake of underwatering , will make the effort to get it right (hopefully) .
