Squash...from flower to ripe?

Hi guys,

Not posted for a while...busy busy growing!! AND putting up a NEW shed/summerhouse on the lotty...brilliant...comfort and tea making 

I've put in some butternut and spaghetti squashes and have read a few posts regarding telling when they're ripe (tough skin, hollow sound, dryish vine etc) but I was wondering what's the approx time from getting the first swelling on the female flowers to the ripe fruits and harvesting? (I understand it will be different depending on conditions!)

My spaghetti squashes seem to be doing really well with the largest being about a foot long? The Butternut squashes were worrying as they were all male flowers but in the last week a good few female flowers have shown up and some have even started to swell so it's all good! 

Just wondering when the eatin can begin!!!?

I'd be interested to know how long it takes a butternut to swell and ripen too. Mine only started to fruit at the weekend.
