as I said before this is not going to go away until we can find how it started  I think its known where it started but the point is by who?

its worrying in so much that  this pandemic could bring any country to there knees not just medically but financially and any hint of another lockdown will undoubtedly mean the shelves in shops will be empty if panic buying returns

I don't think it was started by anybody - illnesses just appear as viruses mutate, cross from one species to another etc. This Omicron is supposed to be a mix of the Delta and a common cold corona virus. Somebody got ill with both at the same time and this is what happened. Bit like a wolf and a dog mating .
Even if we get the cause nailed down to 'patient zero' it's not going to make any difference.

If it means that I am less likely to get ill, and/or less likely to be as infectious to more vulnerable people, then I'll have as many boosters as it's suggested I get!!
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Finally got my booster yesterday. Been waiting ages due to 2 heavy colds. Went like clockwork and didn't feel a thing. So relieved to get it sorted!!

well done Mrs Pea at least you can feel more confident having the jab I have my views about those who either cant' be bothered or are just anti jab because my view is the jab not only offers me  some protection against this virus but  also protect those who work in the NHS who could be more at risk of catching this virus as well as other people I come in contact with

why are people so anti jab and take to the streets to make there  protest against the the jab because I'm somewhat confuse as I thought the jab was to help you fight this virus if you was unfortunate to catch it

I was talking to a person down the street the other day and he was adamant he wasn't having any vax he said well if I get it I get it so pointed out it wasn't just to protect him it but others  I'm  not interested in other's he said because its only like flue when i pointed out to him this virus could kill you he just laughed and replied well we can't live for ever I'm not going to repeat what I said to him Il let you think what passed through my lips [censored]  :D

I'm afraid the anti-vax lot are proving that evolution is a fact. We're all going to be exposed and more of the unvaccinated will die. Perhaps someone will come up with a cure for wilful stupidity.. but I wouldn't bet on it.

It seems that those in charge of 'mandates' aren't making lives any easier, because there are still people who haven't been vaxed, who are working, some who have but are hampered by the issues surrounding mandates, and confusion on a combination of all three - or is it four...

I have to admit, I really don't know what other countries are doing these days, and even our press muddies the waters for the UK, and when party politics kicks in, it becomes even worse!

It seems as though we may be in the clear soon, except only this morning, there's speculation on 'Deltacron',which would make any self-respcting Greek throw his arms up in the air!
