for woodlice use diluted jeyes around ya plants just put it in a sprayer with a hose so you can control it then squirt the soil .  :roll: no it wont hurt anything in fact it sterilises the soil and the woodies dont like the taste of it works in my greenhouse woodpile  another thing i keep shouting on about is use car grease around any high stemmed plants...y it  :lol:

Would the car grease work on Broad beans to stop the black fly etc?

Did you ever get your answer to you particular hell - one i share too

I do not agree that they do not harm plants
they deface my beets and destroy my sweetcorn

I too wish to know how to deal with them
which is how i found these posts

Slug pellets will sort out woodlice, another one is a mix of ant powder and mashed potato.
Make sure it is out of reach of pets and other wildlife.
