Beetroot
« on: June 05, 2019, 10:31 »
Hi all,

As you probably know I知 new to all this gardening. I have half a plot. I知 going to pop some beans in tomorrow from my granddad. Am I too late for beetroot?

Hopfully not. I壇 like to pickle some for Christmas.

Thank
Ches

Punk isn't dead...it's underground where it belongs. If it comes to the surface it's no longer punk...it's Green Day!

Agree, plenty of time. I've only put in one row so far, which have now germinated and about 1cm high. Another row going in later today if it stops raining.....

Turnips, on the other hand, are causing me real grief this year, normally no problem but first lot got hit by a late ground frost, second lot taking ages to get going.

Fingers crossed about the turnips.
