Hen with bent back toe...

My friend and I have some pekin cross bantams, one of our recent additions has a bent back toe - the nail is starting to stick into the bottom of her foot - any suggestions please.

How old is she? if still a little chick with soft pliable bones you could splint it but if older then I don't think that would work. You may just have to keep her nail trimed - although not to short as it will bleed.
Problems with feet can occur through poor breeding habits, wrong temperatures in the incubator or through injuries.
Staffies are softer than you think.
