morning all.my plot gets covered in chickweed over winter,i was thinking of covering for winter as i get the harvest out,cover it,,,is this a good thing do you think,or will it grow back with a vengenge when i uncover it in spring,

Leave it, mine is a green carpet in winter till I dig in. Chickweed is great for locking in your top soil so the winter don't blow it away, dig it in for a green manure, you could also use it as a veg in salads, its perfectly edible.

I do the same as Aidy apart from eating it. The hens like it more than i do. :)
