Thanks they have some on sale at the site but I just missed the shed shop, only open once a week.  I think I might treat myself at the garden centre.

I have found the really garlic co.best value to  and all the bulbs recieved in good condition in contrast to some well known companies who charge loads for p&p which is so annoying if you only want small quantities.

My first time growing garlic so one or two  questions :-

does it have to be in a sunny spot over the winter or will semui shade do and is it best to stagger the planting to keep the supply going /

Semi-shade is tolerated provided it doesn't become heavy shade in the spring.  Plant them all at the same time.
