I take the magazine Country Kitchen and came across a recipe for pepper and Cheddar muffins which to 10 1/2 ozs of plain flour gives a quantity of 2 TABLESPOONS of baking powder.  Surely this must be a misprint, that's about half a tub of the stuff.

My recipe for cheesey muffins uses 9oz flour and 3 teaspoons of BP, so guess your recipe should be 2 teaspoons  :unsure:
