White Spots
« on: June 17, 2011, 11:57 »
I've noticed a few white spots on my *15 week* old chickens.
It seems to just brush off, I've had a check as well as I couldnt and didnt spot any lice, co was thinking maybe its just shed skin?
Or is it lice and they need a good powdering?

Rain has rather prevented much dust bathing for them.
We use chemicals in this garden, just as god intended

have a close look at the white spots - are they like little tubes? They could be the waxy tubes that surround new feathers.
Staffies are softer than you think.

to be honest, they look somewhere between dandruff and bubbles.
So could be waxy tubes.
